Overview Dashboard
Operational summary, not decorative scoring.
The overview dashboard is the first review surface in Veridominus. It is designed to answer three practical questions: what needs attention, why it matters, and which workflow should be opened next.
Jamf inventory snapshotFreshness stateAction-first drill-down
What the dashboard shows
- Jamf inventory snapshot counts only when the current response returned a usable result
- Data freshness and state for workflows such as EA scans, Ghost Hunter, profile conflicts, and Workbench
- Operational items that need attention now, with direct paths into the underlying workflow
- Push certificate status and other supported point-in-time platform signals when the API client can read them
How to read the dashboard
Inventory counts and workflow freshness are separate on purpose. A valid count does not prove a workflow is current, and a stale workflow state does not automatically invalidate every summary count around it.
Why the screen stays explicit
The dashboard does not compress multiple weak signals into a single health score. If a count is unavailable or a workflow state is stale, that remains visible instead of being normalized into a cleaner-looking summary.
What the dashboard does not do
- It does not replace the evidence view of the underlying workflow.
- It does not treat unavailable Jamf counts as zero.
- It does not present a generic compliance score or fleet health score.
- It does not hide local-only state such as Workbench behind Jamf-derived counts.
Operational use
Use the dashboard to triage, not to conclude. The value of the screen is that it shortens the path from a stale or risky signal to the exact workflow that can explain it in detail.
